Thanks to the incredible efforts of our Sleepout team and the wider support of colleagues, we raised £9,515, which, when matched by Foundation, brought the total to £19,030. This funding helps Centrepoint deliver life-changing support, from counselling sessions and essential starter packs to their educational bursary scheme that enables young people to rebuild their lives.
Beyond fundraising, the experience offered a powerful insight into the challenges faced by those without a safe place to call home. Colleagues described the night as eye-opening and humbling, highlighting the discomfort, vulnerability and uncertainty that many young people face every day.
Hearing first-hand stories from individuals supported by Centrepoint reinforced the importance of the charity’s work and the impact of collective action. The event not only strengthened team connections but also deepened understanding and empathy across the business.
