Together, the team completed 75 laps, covered 600km and climbed over 7,500 metres, raising more than £4,000. From first-time runners to experienced participants, everyone played their part, with standout efforts including 13 laps from Harry Sawdon and an incredible team spirit throughout.
We’re close to our £5,000 fundraising target, with every step helping Centrepoint continue its life-changing work, providing young people with safety, support and the chance to build brighter futures.
One standout story of resilience came from James Wheeler, who took on Endure 24 solo. Completing 13 laps and 104km in 24 hours, James pushed through significant challenges both past and present. After a slipped disc in 2009 left him unable to walk for months, and a torn hamstring in the lead-up to the event, he focused on recovery, strength and consistency to reach the finish line. His achievement is a powerful reminder that you can do more than you think.
Endure 24 reminded us that making a difference doesn’t have to start with something big. Sometimes, it starts with one step, one hour or one shared goal, and together, those efforts can create real, lasting impact.
